Bassistry has been writing and performing multicultural music programmes for schools since 1993. These programmes have been specifically designed to work within the National Curriculum. They have also acheived OFSTED recognition.
Bassistry has established itself as one of the UK's leading music companies in education, winning the Shell Livewire Award in 1995 for Most Outstanding Enterprise.
Sponsored originally by the Prince's Youth Business Trust (PYBT), Bassistry have performed for Prince Charles and been invited to Highgrove as one of PYBT's Outstanding Businesses.
Bassistry Education has worked at over 600 schools. It conducts programmes throughout the UK, Hong Kong, Australia and Thailand. Bassistry Music currently has composed music for ITV, Channel 4 Education the BBC. It also co-designed the O-Generator Education Music Software now distributed by worldwide by Sibelius Music Software.
